Spin: The Science of Rotation will return to the Edgerton Gallery during September. Don’t miss taking a “spin” in the Human Centrifuge!

Get the Message is a highly interactive exhibit with a variety of components designed to engage visitors ages 3 and older.

From an arched eyebrow to the front page news, experience the dynamic variety of tools people use to communicate.

Try your hand at virtual cave art, signal a crane operator, puzzle over expressions, send a message in Morse code and more.

These hands-on experiences invite you to explore the subtle structures we use when sending and receiving information.

Admission is FREE for CSC members.
Nonmembers: $5 adults, $3 for youth (3 to 18) and seniors (62 and over). Free for children under 3.

Energy Avenue

Discover the fun of creating and launching rockets, lifting yourself in the air a with a pulley system, taking a spin in Spin Circle, plus much more in Energy Avenue! This new and inventive physical science exhibit was created by our own ingenious CSC exhibit staff. You will find Energy Avenue in the lower level of the building at CSC.

They will be in Little Builders, opening October 11 in Catawba Science Center’s Carpenter Hall exhibit gallery.

Explore concepts of construction, motion and simple machines using kid friendly tools and real-life building materials.

Hard hats and construction vests provided!
