Learn How to Build your own Combat Robot!

Work with CSC Staff and volunteers to design, construct, and build your 1 lb combat robot! Over the course of 3 sessions, you will learn all of the basics to build your very own combat robot with skills such as 3D printing, soldering, and more! During the last class, you'll get to put your robot to the test! The cost for registration includes all materials and supplies. The program works for a wide range of ages. Youth under 14 should be accompanied by an adult, not recommended for children under 7.

The registration cost includes all necessary materials and supplies. 4 participants are allowed per robot, 1 adult required. Pre-purchased tickets are required for this event. Ticket quantities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Non-Members: $450
Members: $400

FAQs

Where do I go? — Classes will be held in the Foothills Collaboratory in the Main Arts and Science Building. Park on the South side along the one way street. Enter the main, middle door. Staff at CSC’s check-in desk, to the left, will direct you down the hall. It is not necessary to check in with the desk/get an admission sticker at this desk.

What do I bring? — Feel free to bring writing utensils and notebooks. Overview of the course and directions for assignments to be done outside of classes will be provided during the first meeting. There is no need to prepare prior to April 26th.
