Catawba Science Center is a premier educational destination for school field trips in Hickory and throughout Catawba County. Much more than a chance to explore hands-on science exhibits and aquarium galleries, education field trips to Catawba Science Center can include classroom programs, offering grade-specific experiences in physical, natural and earth sciences. All programs complement the NC Common Core & Science Standards and goals. Park programs and planetarium shows are also available.
