Admission Prices

General admission tickets may be purchased at our on-site admission desks or online for advance admission. An admission ticket purchased online is single-use and may be redeemed upon arrival at check-in at one of our admission desks by presenting a printout of your ticket purchase or displaying the ticket purchase electronically on your mobile device. We recommend checking your spam folder if you are unable to locate your confirmation email.

General Admission tickets include one full day of admission to the Catawba Science Center, including all exhibit areas, the featured exhibit hall, the aquarium, and public planetarium* shows. Special programs and events are excluded from General Admission.

Group Guidelines

Available WEDNESDAY through FRIDAY

  • Groups must be at least 10 or more, with at least 1 adult per group.
  • To qualify, all individuals in your group must be present at the time of check-in.
  • Groups must pay under one transaction for all adults and children ages 3 and up.
  • Catawba Science Center Membership, Free passes, discounts, or reciprocal benefits DO NOT apply to group rates.

Online Admission Tickets

You may purchase general admission tickets in person or in advance online. General admission tickets purchased online are single-use only and may be redeemed at check-in at our admission desk.

How do I Purchase Tickets?

1. Begin by clicking the "Purchase Tickets" button to the right.

2. Type the quantity you wish to purchase for each ticket type. *IMPORTANT NOTE: When purchasing admission tickets online, you MUST select E-Ticket as the delivery option.

3. Once paid for, you may present a printout of your ticket or display the ticket electronically on your mobile device for check-in at the admission desk. Please check your spam folder if you don't see your confirmation email.

Other Admission Discounts

At this time, we are unable to apply online admission discounts such as Portal to Science, Reciprocal Admission, etc. Please purchase your tickets in person to receive your discount.

Refunds
