Land to Sea

The long-awaited re-opening of Edgerton Gallery is here with the new exhibit Land to Sea! Located in the Aquarium/Planetarium building on the SALT Block, Edgerton Gallery is the room where our Herpetarium, 3 large Tortoises, Iguana, and American Alligator live. In this building, you can also find our Coral Reef tank featuring many species of coral and reef fish, and a Weather Station! Learn about animals, weather, and their relationship in our changing world.

Herpetarium

A Herpetarium is a zoological exhibition space for reptiles and amphibians.

Peek behind the scenes and take a look at many of our program animals. Watch CSC Animal Care staff at work as they care daily for our living collection.

Animal Habitats

CSC is home to 3 different species of tortoises! Seymour, the largest tortoise, Pedro, the oldest, and Toot, the smallest. We are also home to a Green Iguana named Ivy, and an American Alligator! Click below to learn more about each of these species and how they came to CSC!

Coral Reef

Our LIVE Coral Reef focuses on coral conservation and contains several species of coral as well as reef-dwelling animals such as yellow tang and emerald crabs.Interact with our tactile Feel the Reel spinners to experience what ocean life feels like!
