Experience a hands-on science fun for adults! Science After Dark provides the opportunity to visit CSC exhibits, learn from experts, and engage with science after hours. We have dissections, star talks, and laser shows! Events include adult beverages available for donation. Details for future events will be announced quarterly. February 15th in the Millholland Planetarium
Rock Valentine's Day with the timeless sounds of Pink Floyd! A showing of your favorites from "Dark Side of The Moon" at 6:30pm & "The Wall" at 7:30pm. Make plans for an epic date night or a night of fun with friends on February 15th, in the Planetarium Building. Adult only program. Doors open at 6:00pm. Beer and wine will be available for a donation.

March 20th in North Lobby
Join us for an unforgettable evening of creativity and competition at "Imagine. Drink. Play." on March 20th from 6 – 9 pm! Enjoy a game night at CSC’s new featured exhibit or unleash your inner engineer and tackle open-ended challenges designed to spark your imagination. Compete against fellow innovators in a series of yet-to-be-revealed challenges for the ultimate bragging rights. At the end of the night, one lucky participant will be crowned "Engineer Extraordinaire" and earn the title of the evening's top creative genius. Don't miss out on this adults-only night of fun, drinks, and playful ingenuity! Doors open at 5:00 pm. Beer and wine will be available for a donation. Guests are invited to bring their own board games!

This place was great. We have kids from 8 to 1 and they all had a great time. What I really liked is most of the exhibits are hands on and that really kept them occupied.
Fabulous and I don’t often give praise. We took our grandson and were there for hours. He loved it and so did we.
Took the kiddos and they loved it. Employees were nice and helpful. If your looking for something to do with the kids give this place a shot.
We love the Science Center! I take my 2 and 4 year old boys weekly to play and enjoy the exhibits. The staff are wonderful and the classes offered are excellent! We are so blessed to have such an amazing resource in our area.
What a wonderful place to visit! Great environment to learn and the staff is very helpful! Hickory is lucky to have great family education and entertainment.
